Dovetail Connector - 100

The KLICK snap-in connector is a double dovetail connector that sits in both sides of a dovetail-shaped groove routed in the joining components. The KLICKpro, a connector with an integrated dovetail, serves as an adapter for the KLICK and sKLICK, and it can be simply attached with nails/staples or screws in a dado or rabbet. Our patented dovetail design for the KLICK and sKLICK is cut with our custom KLICK Dovetail Router Bit, available with 1/4″, 1/2″, and 8 mm shanks. The KLICK-Systems is one of our most versatile and popular connectors among woodworkers and Architectural Millworkers, widely used for window and door casing applications, both inside and outside, as all of the connectors are made of UV and weather-resistant plastic.

The KLICK and KLICKpro combined offer several advantages:

Fast assembly: 1) The dovetail groove can be pre-cut, 2) Components are simply snapped together in seconds, and 3) Reduces labor and equipment cost, as there is no splitting of trim by nailing and no filling of nail holes.

Non-visible connector: 1) Appeals to the architect and customer, and 2) There are no holes in the finished workpiece.

Self-tightening: 1) The connector pulls itself into the groove, thus no clamping is necessary, and 2) No glue is necessary.

Versatile: 1) Works especially well for components with small dimensions where the pin and brad nails would be used, 2) Can be disassembled and re-assembled if needed, 3) Made with UV weather-resistant plastic for use indoors and outdoors, and 4) Can be used on materials as thin as 3/8″ (9.5 mm) in thickness and width.
